The Honorable Colette D. Honorable is Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary at Exelon Corporation. In this capacity, Honorable oversees legal, public policy, legislative, regulatory, federal affairs, and corporate giving functions for the enterprise.

Before her current role, Honorable served as Exelon’s Chief External Affairs Officer. She was previously an equity partner at global law firm Reed Smith LLP and a member of its executive committee.

Honorable previously served as a Commissioner at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, a role she was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate, overseeing electric grid reliability. Before FERC, she served in executive roles in state government and as president of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners.

Honorable is a member of the Exelon Foundation Board and is active in various organizations, including serving on The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Board of Directors, The Executive Leadership Council, The Economic Club, the American Association of Blacks in Energy, the Energy Bar Association, National Bar Association, Women’s Council on Energy and the Environment, the Women’s Energy Resource Council, and the National Academies of Sciences’ Board on Energy and Environmental System.

She is vice chair of the Energy Regulators Regional Association’s Strategic Advisory Board and a senior fellow at the Bipartisan Policy Center. She is a proud life member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
