Erica Acie

Erica Acie is the head of retail originations for Truist Financial Corporation (NYSE: TFC) and a member of the Consumer Lending team. A servant leader in the real estate lending industry with over 25 years of experience, Acie is responsible for managing the P&L, sourcing clients in need of mortgage solutions, as well as originating high quality loans that meet the financial needs of clients across the economic spectrum.

Previously, Acie held various leadership positions at Truist, most recently serving as head of fulfillment operations and post-closing, overseeing retail and operational financial priorities of the real estate lending organization. In alignment with the Truist purpose to inspire and build better lives and communities, Acie’s personal purpose is to help others reach their full potential. She is committed to building a strong culture by developing and implementing strategies for talent acquisition and retention, training, performance standards, and promoting employee engagement, Acie is experienced in establishing collaborative working relationships, and driving excellent client satisfaction ratings. She serves on the Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnerships (ANDP) Board of Directors and is an active member in several leadership associations: Women Empowering Women, National Black MBA, and World50.

Acie holds a B.A. and an MBA from Ashford University and is a certified green belt in Six Sigma and Lean Management. She also authored the book titled, “We Got This! A Guide to Securing Your Greatest Future.” Acie lives in Atlanta, GA with her husband.
