My 30+ years working in sports & entertainment has allowed me to flex my business acumen and hone my operations excellence in high-visibility, large scale settings. I have spent most of my career with the NBA, initially joining the organization as a Game Logger and working my way up through the ranks. Now, as Senior Vice President, Head of Business Operations, I drive strategy and innovation, ensuring we respond quickly in the rapidly evolving sports industry. I execute existing growth strategies and forge new opportunities while allocating and managing all departmental resources.
The unprecedented times we lived through in 2020 – with the pandemic and social unrest – have challenged industries and forced them to completely reimagine their business models. The NBA is no exception, and I led the highly visible and large-scale social justice content plans and initiatives for the 2020 NBA season restart, coordinating the organization’s response to social justice. I have also successfully deployed NBA content resources in Asia, Europe, India, Latin America and Africa. I was also a proud member of the team that initiated, developed and implemented comprehensive business practices and resource plans for the NBA Replay Center and the NBA Game Distribution Center.
I’m fortunate in that my position gives me new challenges every day – and I very much enjoy the resourcefulness I can bring to conquer these challenges. I work with terrific people with whom I can collaborate on initiatives that make a true impact both internally and externally.
I live with my husband in New Jersey and am the proud mom of two wonderful children. As the daughter of an amazing singer who released records while I was growing up, music has always been a focal point and passion in my life. For me, music is the soundtrack to the multitude of experiences in our lives, and as I’ve learned through my father’s experience, it lives far beyond our own lifetimes through digital and streaming avenues. Music brings content to life.
