Paige Bingham is the global director of Close the Gap, a Boston Scientific initiative that has been championing health equity for over two decades. We collaborate with health systems and providers to identify disparities in diagnosis and interventions, build a plan to improve equitable access to care, and then measure the impact of these actions. Because as we all know, you can’t improve what you don’t measure.
In 2024, Close the Gap identified over 70,000 women and people of color missing equitable access to cardiovascular care and equipped 48 health systems to take measurable action in their communities. Additionally, we supported 14 global clinical trials in diversity action planning, achieving a 287% increase in the participation of diverse patients in one key study.
With a passion for global innovation and transformation, Paige has held leadership positions at Allina Health, Medtronic, General Mills, and Deloitte. She has also served on the boards of YWCA Minneapolis, Twin Cities RISE and WomenHeart—The National Coalition of Women with Heart Disease.
Paige holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Claremont McKenna College. She currently lives in Minneapolis with her husband and enjoys spending time with her family in New York and San Francisco.
